One of the common goals of most civilizations, aside from coveting your neighbors everything, is to be healthy. This first requires a personal definition of health, then a means of achieving that description. I think a useful definition that most of us can agree on would be something like, “a state of optimal well being”. Fortunately this seems to be our default position. It is what the checks and balances of our cells , tissues, organs and systems are designed to manifest.
Because there is so much that we don’t know when it comes to healthcare, sometimes the best we can do is put forth an idea, postulate, or premise and run with it. I find for myself that the more fun I am having chasing down a possibility, the more affective I seem to be. Take this ride with me and see what you think.
Let’s assume that this health versus disease paradigm is not what it first appears to be. Let’s pretend that the symptoms manifest as a wake up call that there is something in your life that needs attention. Often this is something in your mental or emotional fields. I like asking myself questions because I almost always get a useful answer. Usually a thought comes to me, or something someone says, something I read or see. A wise person once told me that our body’s held our roadmap out of here. I have come to believe that she meant that it held the key to our spiritual growth. I have found valuable lessons when asking myself why I was experience a particular condition in my body. The key for me is to be open to an answer and to use a comprehensive care approach, even when it is uncomfortable or something I would rather not look at.
We have become very good at resisting thoughts and emotions that make us uncomfortable. This keeps us from moving forward. Try, instead, embracing them and see what happens. It is written that negative emotions have a vibrational frequency that is lower than that of more positive emotions. Also, that lower vibrations, if allowed to linger, will have an adverse effect on the health and tissues in the body. This is a very good reason to release negative emotions as soon as they are noticed. Another thing that is common to emotions is that they are accompanied by a reason for their existence. It is the reason itself that allows them to persist. Releasing the reason and erasing the emotion by just feeling it for it’s own sake will cause it to dissipate fairly quickly. As long as the emotion and the story remain connected, the feeling will persist unless you do something with the story. A much faster way to move on is to dismiss the reason as no longer important and fully feel the emotion itself. It will then find a home in one of your energy fields and will not harm your physical form. This is a key healthy step toward well being.
